Description
Azafran Indian Cuisine is an Indian restaurant and wine bar at 535 Zang St in Broomfield, Colorado. It was formerly known as Azitra, and its current owners, Rishu and Chef Saurav, managed the restaurant for seven years before taking it over. The name is the Urdu word for saffron. The menu covers classic Indian dishes along with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, with separate lunch, dinner, vegan and dessert menus.
The bar pours wine, beer and spirits, and Wine Spectator has named the restaurant among Indian restaurants where wine takes the spotlight. Happy hour runs Monday through Thursday, and Wine Down Wednesdays feature live music. First Friday wine tastings are also held. Azafran hosts private events for up to 160 guests and offers multi-course chef tastings with drink pairings. Reservations, carryout and delivery through DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub are available.
