Description
Honey Butter is a small retro diner at 155 Highway 133 in Carbondale, Colorado, on the northern tip of the highway. The building was previously known as Red Rock Diner and has been reworked by the Slow Groovin' family into a fried chicken and milkshake spot.
The chicken is buttermilk brined, battered and pressure fried, then served with bread and butter pickled jalapenos, honey butter and a hot honey sauce. Diners can ask for it "dipped" in that sauce. The menu also includes chicken and waffles, other breakfast classics and milkshakes. Online ordering for pickup is available.
