Abo’s Pizza

Abo's Pizza is a New York-style pizzeria that began in Boulder in 1977 and now has nine Front Range locations. This one is at 7475-6 E Arapahoe Rd in Centennial. The kitchens make hand-tossed dough fresh each day, use a sauce recipe based on a Rocky Graziano family blend, and top pies with skim mozzarella. Pizzas are baked on deck ovens with baking bricks instead of conveyor belts.

Pies come in 12, 16 and 18 inch sizes, with slices cut from 20 inch pies. Gluten-free crust is offered in 12 and 16 inch sizes, though the kitchens are not dedicated gluten-free environments. Online ordering, late-night service and catering are available, and for large events the team brings its deck ovens on-site.
