Mochi Thai’m Donuts

Mochi Thai'm Donuts is a donut shop at 721 N Academy Blvd in Colorado Springs that blends American-style donuts with Japanese mochi. The donuts are made with rice flour, which the shop says makes them naturally gluten-free and celiac-safe, and they are fried and glazed to order in an open kitchen.

The menu includes eight standard flavors plus four that rotate weekly, with options such as Ube, Taro, Thai tea, Pandan, salted caramel and cookies n crème. A specialty drink menu features brown sugar boba made fresh daily and milk alternatives like oat milk. Vegan and dairy-free donuts are available by pre-order, and the shop offers catering and online ordering. The business grew out of co-owner Sakeo Williams's Thai restaurant, and the owners draw on Thai, Filipino and Guamanian backgrounds.
