Description

Distillery 291 is a craft distillery at 1647 S Tejon St in Colorado Springs, making 291 Colorado Whiskey. The distillery was founded by Michael Myers, a former New York City photographer, who built his first still from copper photogravure plates and pulled his first whiskey off it in September 2011.

The distillery says it distills twelve Colorado whiskeys by hand, using grains from the Colorado plains and water collected from Pikes Peak reservoirs. Its website also shares cocktail recipes built on its spirits, including a Colorado Buck, a Whiskarita and an Old Fashioned made with its Decc whiskey. Check the website for current offerings before you visit.
