Chicken Riot

Chicken Riot is a barbecue restaurant at 2906 E Sixth Ave in Denver that puts smoked chicken at the center of its menu. The kitchen smokes chicken wings, which it calls Raptor Claws, and tosses them in lemon pepper or buffalo sauce with ranch, blue cheese or white barbecue sauce for dipping. Slow-smoked half chickens are marinated in citrus or pibil and come with a choice of two sides.

The menu also includes a deviled egg chicken salad sandwich on a Reunion Bakery croissant, wraps and salads made with pulled smoked chicken, and sides such as Mexican dirty rice, beef tallow black beans and mac and cheese. A kids' plate is available, and the website has a link for ordering online.
