Description
Butcher Block Cafe is a diner-style breakfast spot on Washington Street in Denver, one of three cafes run by brothers who came to Denver from North Dakota in 1979. The cafes aim to feel like small-town diners, with home-cooked meals made mostly from scratch.
The breakfast menu covers smothered breakfast burritos, omelettes, chicken fried steak, steak and eggs, pancakes, French toast, and biscuits and gravy. Homemade cinnamon rolls are the house specialty and can be ordered by the dozen or half dozen with a call ahead. The cafe also takes large orders for events.
