Description
Copper Door Coffee Roasters is a Denver coffee roaster with cafes around the city, including at Denver Botanic Gardens, Park Hill, Lowry and Aspen Grove. This location is at 2634 Ash St. The company was founded in 2006 and has been owned since 2014 by Hannah Ulbrich, who describes it as Denver's only wholly female-owned roaster with brick-and-mortar cafes.
The roastery sources much of its coffee from women producers and says it roasts with locally sourced wind power. Its lineup includes espresso blends such as Porta Aperta and Four Sisters, plus single-origin beans from Costa Rica, Guatemala and Brazil. Beans can be ordered online or through a coffee subscription, and the roastery hosts coffee classes that require registration.
