Description
Ku Cha House of Tea is a specialty tea shop that sells loose leaf teas and tea-ware and serves freshly brewed tea drinks. The company began in Boulder in 2005 and now has retail shops across the Front Range. Its name comes from the Chinese words for "bitter" and "tea," a nod to the idea that sweet is richer for the bitter that comes before it.
The shop's range covers more than 250 teas and herbs, including green, white, oolong, black, puerh, chai, fruit, herbal and rooibos teas, plus yerba mate. Many of the classic teas are imported directly from farms in China and Japan, and some blends are created in house. This location is at 2445 E 3rd Ave in Denver.
