Mario’s Speakeasy Pizza

Mario's Speakeasy Pizza is a pizzeria at 1410 Market St in Denver, serving hand-crafted New York-style pizza. The menu centers on 20-inch pies and slices, with a build-your-own option, plus specialties such as Buffalo chicken, a three-meat Sicilian trio, white spinach, Margherita and Hawaiian. Sicilian thick-crust, Grandma's-style and gluten-free pizzas are also on the menu, along with stromboli, garlic knots, wings and tiramisu.

The owner-operator, Mitchell Santee, says he trained at a pizzeria in Boca Raton and spent time studying pizza styles in Italy before opening in downtown Denver. Reservations are accepted, online ordering is available through the website, and private event catering rooms can be arranged by phone.
