Bastien’s Restaurant

Bastien's Restaurant has been serving Denver since 1937 and is still family owned and operated. It sits at 3503 East Colfax Avenue, in a building that replaced the old Moon Drive Inn in 1958. The restaurant calls itself the home of the Sugar Steak, a cut seasoned with its house sugar-and-spice rub. Other steak styles include Black & Tan, jalapeño and gorgonzola crust, alongside burgers, bacon-wrapped scallops, crab cakes and chicken fried steak.

The bar pours craft and domestic beer, wine by the glass and by the bottle, and cocktails such as the Filthy Martini and Pomegranate Margarita. Reservations are accepted, and the upstairs can be booked for groups and parties. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, though the restrooms are not. Hours are listed on this page.
