Description
Range is a restaurant at 918 17th St in downtown Denver, inside the Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel. It occupies the restored Colorado National Bank building, which dates to 1915. The kitchen cooks what it calls New American West cuisine, built around Colorado ingredients, with dishes such as bone marrow with skillet cornbread, smoked elk sausage, bison short rib and a dry-aged ribeye. The menu also covers vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a weekday happy hour and a full bar that pours cocktails, Colorado beers and a wine list. Live music plays on some weekday evenings. Groups of 10 or more can book private dining, and reservations are accepted. Complimentary valet parking is available at the hotel driveway on Champa Street.
