Description
Ukiyo is an omakase restaurant at 1317 14th St in Denver, built around a 12-seat chef's counter. Chef Phraseuth Paul Sananikone serves a multi-course set menu that changes with the seasons and the market, combining Japanese techniques with flavors from around the world, including sushi. The restaurant has been recommended by the Michelin Guide.
Seatings are by reservation, with two each night from Tuesday through Saturday. The menu leans heavily on seafood, raw fish and meat, and the restaurant notes it cannot accommodate vegetarian or vegan guests or those who avoid raw fish. Full buyouts for groups of 12 are available, and the restaurant also hosts a monthly whole bluefin tuna breakdown evening.
