Anarchy Brewing Company

Anarchy Brewing Company is a neighborhood micro-brewery and taproom at 225 E 8th Ave in Durango, near Horse Gulch. The founder and friends built, decorated and run the space, which describes a mission of welcoming individuals, friends, families and dogs, with a love of punk rock, mountain bikes and the outdoors.

The brewery makes small batch beers that rotate often, from traditional styles to unusual ones, and sometimes collaborates with local brewers. On a recent tap list, styles ran from a barrel aged Vienna lager and an English pale ale to a stout and a dragonfruit sour. Non-alcoholic beers, seltzers and sodas are also offered. Food comes from a wood-fired pizza spot and a food truck in the back lot, and the taproom hosts live music and community events. Catering is available.
