Description
Tequila's Family Mexican Restaurant is a family-owned Mexican restaurant at 948 Main Ave in Durango, part of a small Colorado group that also has a location in Bayfield. The Garcia family has run it since 1999, and the cooking follows the Jalisco style of its founder.
The menu covers combination plates, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, seafood dishes, salads and tortilla soup, along with a kids' menu. A full bar serves margaritas, cocktails, wine and Mexican and domestic beers, and the bar area has big-screen TVs for watching games. Dine-in and takeout are both available, and the kitchen says it can prepare food to order for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions.
