ZOMO

ZOMO is a family-owned restaurant at 3457 S Broadway in Englewood, run by Ryan and Alysia, who describe it as an Asian and American eatery. The menu draws on both families' histories, with Vietnamese influences from Alysia's grandparents and Chinese influences from Ryan's.

The kitchen is led by Alysia's grandmother, Chi, whose recipes shape the menu. Her Vietnamese-style egg rolls are made with a Filipino wrapper, a substitution she began using after settling in small-town Kansas and working with the ingredients she could find locally. Dishes are made fresh to order from scratch, and the restaurant says it works at grandma's pace. Along with the main menu, there are happy hour, bar, kid and dessert menus.
