Description
The Old Mine is a cidery and taproom at 500 Briggs St in Erie, Colorado, set in a restored 1889 mercantile building in the historic downtown. Opened in 2013, it started as a small craft cidery and makes its own hard ciders, including Handlebar Hard Cider, Apple Pie and Hopped-Up Handlebar. Fifteen rotating taps pour craft beer alongside the cider, and the bar also stocks bourbon.
The kitchen turns out artisan pizzas, toasted sandwiches, salads, shareables, desserts and house-smoked pork. A happy hour runs Tuesday through Sunday. The Old Mine offers dine-in and pick-up only, with online ordering, catering and room rentals available. Reservations are not taken.
