Abo’s Pizza

Abo's Pizza is a New York-style pizzeria on Austin Avenue in Erie, one of nine Front Range locations that trace back to a 1977 start in Boulder. The restaurant describes hand-tossed dough made fresh each day, a tomato sauce based on a Rocky Graziano family recipe, and 100% skim mozzarella, with pies baked on the brick of deck ovens instead of conveyor belts.

Pizzas come in 12, 16 and 18 inch sizes, with large slices cut from 20 inch pies. Gluten-free crust is offered in 12 and 16 inch sizes, though the kitchen is not dedicated gluten-free.
