Description
The Barrel is a Bavarian-style beer garden and hall at 251 Moraine Avenue in Estes Park, open since 2015 and run by owners Ingrid and Lou Bush. It focuses on craft beer, cider, mead, whiskey, cocktails and wine, with an outdoor container bar from May through October and a cozy indoor bar the rest of the year. The taps rotate, and the owners count the number at 64 outdoors and about 20 to 25 indoors.
There is no kitchen on site. Food trucks rotate daily from May through October and on weekends in winter, and guests can also bring a picnic, order delivery or carry in food from nearby Estes Park restaurants. Non-alcoholic options include sodas, kombucha, lemonade and non-alcoholic beer. The Barrel is family friendly, and well-behaved dogs are welcome year-round.
