Penelope’s Old Time Burgers

Penelope's Old Time Burgers is a burger spot at 229 W Elkhorn Ave in downtown Estes Park, serving hand-pressed patties made from beef, bison or elk. The restaurant says it has been flipping burgers since 1984 and added wild game to the menu in the early 2000s. Sandwiches, gourmet brats and dogs, elk chili and a veggie burger on an avocado bun round things out.

Sides include hand-cut fries made from fresh potatoes, sweet potato fries, fried pickles, onion rings and mac and cheese bites.
