Tamales from Heaven is a tamale shop at 3219 23rd Ave in Evans, Colorado. The business began more than 20 years ago as a church fund-raiser at Platteville Assembly and opened as a storefront in the Evans and Greeley area in December 2009. Its specialty is pork tamales with red chile, available hot or mild, and green chile and cheese tamales are made without meat.
Bean, beef, chicken and veggie tamales are also on the menu and need to be ordered a day ahead. Tamales are sold by the half dozen or dozen, and phone orders are taken for same-day pickup. The shop is one block south of Walmart, next to the Dollar Tree.
