Waltzing Kangaroo is a bakery on West Elizabeth Street in Fort Collins that specializes in Australian meat pies. The owner and head chef is an Australian native, and the pies, vegetable pies and dessert pies are handmade from scratch. The shop first opened in 2016.
Pies are sold grab-and-go in the store, hot or frozen, with mashed potatoes and mushy peas as sides. Frozen boxes of 12 pies can also be ordered online and shipped to most of the continental U.S. Takeout is available, and local delivery is currently paused.
