Ku Cha House of Tea is a specialty tea shop with a location at 128 S College Ave in downtown Fort Collins. The brand opened in Boulder in 2005 and says it now carries more than 250 teas and herbs, along with teaware and utensils rooted in Chinese tea culture. The name pairs the Chinese words for bitter and tea, reflecting the owners' view that sweet comes only after hard work.
The shop sells whole leaf tea in categories such as green, white, oolong, black, puerh, chai, herbal, fruit and rooibos, plus decaf, yerba mate and blooming art teas. Some teas are imported directly from China, Japan and India, and the team also makes blends in house. Customers can also blend their own tea.
