Panhandler’s Pizza

Panhandler's Pizza is a pizza restaurant that opened in Fort Collins in 1975 and still makes its pan-style pies with a pastry-like dough baked low and slow. Pizzas are topped with a house sauce, whole-milk mozzarella and fresh toppings, including locally made Italian sausage. They are sold by the slice or as whole pies.

The menu includes specialty pizzas such as The Beggar, Hawaiian and a plant-based Planthandler, plus build-your-own pizzas on pan-style, honey whole wheat, thin or gluten-friendly crusts. Garlic cheese bread, hot wings, salads and cinnapans round things out. Takeout and catering are available. The restaurant now operates at 2721 S College Ave, Unit 4B, after the original West Elizabeth Street location closed; the address in this directory is still 1220 W Elizabeth St, so call ahead or check the website before heading out.
