Description
Smoke Modern Barbeque is a barbecue restaurant at 713 Grand Ave in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, founded in 2007 by chef Jamie Theriot. The kitchen smokes its meats low and slow over hickory and fruitwood, with Kansas City-style burnt ends, dry-rubbed St. Louis-style ribs, brisket and pulled pork on the menu. Southern and Louisiana-style dishes, burgers, sandwiches, salads and seafood round things out.
The bar pours more than 25 bourbons and American whiskeys, plus craft cocktails, draft and bottled beer, and wine. The dining rooms are contemporary, and there is a summer patio. Reservations are accepted and recommended for parties of five or more. Online ordering and catering are available, from office lunches to full-service events.
