Description
Coppertop Bar & Indoor Lounge is the main lounge inside Hotel Colorado at 526 Pine St in Glenwood Springs, also referred to on the hotel's site as the Polo Lounge. The name nods to founder Walter Devereux, who bred polo ponies in the valley, and the room was once a place for polo team owners and fans to relax over drinks.
The lounge offers a food menu of local and regional cuisine, along with an extensive list of beer, wine and signature cocktails, both historic and current. Its mixologists will also make a drink that isn't on the menu, within reason. A daily happy hour runs from 4 to 6 pm, and in the summer months cocktails are served on the hotel's veranda off the main lobby. Catering is available.
