Rock Rest Lodge

Rock Rest Lodge is a bar and grill at 16005 Mt Vernon Rd in Golden, Colorado. The restaurant's website traces the building to around 1885, when local folklore says it began as a trading post and stagecoach stop, and it later grew into a lodge with a ballroom. Behind the main bar sits Murray, a mounted rhino head the lodge calls the world's only beer-spitting rhino, and the site also tells the story of a resident ghost known as the Lady in Red.
