Bella Colibri

Bella Colibri is an Italian restaurant at 812 12th St in downtown Golden, set in one of Colorado's historic buildings. The menu, led by Executive Chef John Wilson, focuses on Southern Italian classics built around seasonal ingredients and house-made pastas, including bucatini all'Amatriciana, beef bolognese, lasagna and ricotta gnocchi. Antipasti, salads, focaccia and desserts such as tiramisu, cannoli and gelato round out the dinner menu, alongside an Old-World wine list and classic cocktails.

The restaurant honors founder Dean Valdez's family story, which traces back to Calabria. Reservations are available, and a patio and private event spaces can be booked for groups. Gluten-free noodles are available on request, and the team accommodates allergies with advance notice.
