About Downtown Grand Junction
Downtown Grand Junction is the historic core of the largest city on Colorado's Western Slope, near where the Gunnison River meets the Colorado River. Its main axis is Main Street, which is known for a long, pedestrian-friendly stretch with wide sidewalks, public sculptures and shops, a setting that makes it easy to walk between cafes, bars and restaurants.
The city sits in a region known for fruit orchards and wine, with the red rock canyons of Colorado National Monument just to the west. That agricultural and outdoor identity shows up in the local food and drink culture, from craft beer to wine-focused dining.
