Description
Wild Bear Tavern & Den is a restaurant, bar and event venue at 120 Lake Ave in Grand Lake, Colorado, inside the Gateway Inn near the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The upstairs tavern has a knotty pine bar, lodgepole furniture and views of Mount Baldy and Shadow Mountain Lake. The menu draws on area-sourced, global cuisine and changes with the season.
The lower-level Den is used for private events such as weddings, receptions and reunions, and serves breakfast in summer. A patio overlooks the mountains and lake, a full bar is available, and live music is part of the summer schedule.
