High Alpine Brewing Company

High Alpine Brewing Company is a brewery in downtown Gunnison at 111 N Main St, open since the summer of 2015. Scott started it as a way to bring the community together over a pint. The taproom pours a core lineup of a Kölsch, a West Coast IPA, an amber ale and an espresso stout, plus rotating seasonal beers. The brewery says it sources ingredients locally when it can, including base malt from Proximity Malting Company in Monte Vista.

The kitchen turns out brick oven pizzas, fresh salads with homemade dressings and appetizers, with a happy hour offered. The drink list also includes cocktails such as a smoked cherry old fashioned. Online ordering is available through the website.
