The Bee’s Knees

The Bee's Knees is a wine bar in Idaho Springs' Historic District at 1430 Miner St. The space is furnished with antique pieces and set up for lingering over a glass of wine or a cold beer, with chess, backgammon and books on hand.

The small food menu centers on charcuterie boards with cheeses, cured meats, fruit, crackers, nuts, olives and pickles, plus seasonal and weekly specials. There is an oxygen bar with aromatherapy oils such as lavender and eucalyptus, and live music from local musicians. Outdoor seating is available from mid-May through October, and the bar hosts private gatherings of up to 40 guests, from bridal showers to birthday parties.
