South Side Restaurant & Bar at 680 Main St in Limon has been a local gathering spot since 1972, when it opened as a pool hall and bar. After a tornado in 1990, it was rebuilt in its current location in 1991 and fully renovated in 2025, keeping the original back bar and collected artwork, mirrors and neon signs.

The kitchen makes classic American food from scratch, including burgers made with beef and bison from local ranches, hand-battered chicken and onion rings, hand-cut fries and fresh pizza dough. Longtime favorites like Pat's cheese sticks and taco pizza are still on the menu. The bar pours eight rotating taps and a signature craft cocktail menu. Pool, shuffleboard, cornhole, a horseshoe pit, a fire pit and a dog-friendly patio add to the setting, and the restaurant hosts events such as trivia, karaoke and paint and sip nights. Catering and online ordering are available.
