Description
Mountain Oven is an organic bakery and millhouse at 395 Clark Ave in Paonia, Colorado, run by Chris Sullivan and Dana Whitcomb. They make hand-shaped sourdough breads on a stone hearth, from-scratch pastries and fruit pies, and stoneground flour milled in-house from Colorado-grown organic grain.
Orders are placed online for pick-up at the bakery on Mondays and Fridays, with pre-orders closing the morning before. Mountain Oven also provides catering of pie, pastry, bread and simple brunch spreads for weddings and private events, and sells through farmers markets and regional wholesale.
