Description
Takoda Tavern is a bar and grill at 12365 Pine Bluffs Way in Parker, on the southeast corner of Parker Road and Hess Road. The tavern pours a rotating lineup of beer on tap, including Guinness, Stella Artois and Breckenridge Brewery Avalanche Ale, along with house wine, specialty cocktails and spiked seltzers.
The calendar includes live music downstairs and on the upper patio Friday through Sunday, trivia on Tuesday nights, and open mic on the first and third Wednesday of the month. A weekday happy hour comes with appetizer and drink specials. The owners say the name Takoda comes from the Sioux language and means "friend to everyone." Takeout orders go through the phone, and reservations or large-group requests can be emailed to the tavern.
