Southwest Deli and Cafe

Southwest Deli and Cafe is a family-owned deli and cafe at 1873 S Pueblo Blvd in Pueblo, run by Lloyd and Carol Mast. Despite the name, it is not a Mexican restaurant; the "southwest" refers to its location on the city's southwest side. The kitchen bakes its own bread, cinnamon rolls and pastries from scratch, and the deli slices its own meats and cheeses. Breakfast items include biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos and bagels, and sandwiches are made on the house-baked bread.

The shop also works like a small store, with bulk nuts, pretzels, candy and snack mixes, plus jams, pickles, honey and soaps. Gluten-free bread and veggie options are available, and the cafe describes its setting as calm and relaxed. Catering is offered for events.
