Description
Kazahana is a Japanese restaurant at 126 E Colorado Ave in downtown Telluride, set in a historic red-front building with a two-level interior. The street level features charred Shou Sugi Ban wood, while the main dining room below uses lighter wood tones. The kitchen, led by Chef Naoki Takahashi, serves classic and modern Japanese dishes with a focus on fresh seafood and unique sauces.
The menu spans sashimi, nigiri, sushi rolls, chirashi, ramen and udon, gyoza, and entrées such as black cod saikyo-yaki and A5 Miyazaki wagyu. A 10-seat Omakase Bar offers a 15-course chef's choice tasting menu, with optional sake and wine pairings. Drinks include Japanese-inspired craft cocktails, Japanese whiskeys, sake and wine. Reservations are recommended, walk-ins are welcome, and takeout is available by phone.
