Beano’s Cabin

Beano's Cabin is a log-cabin restaurant on Beaver Creek Mountain, set in an on-mountain meadow at the base of Larkspur Bowl within the White River National Forest. Guests arrive on horseback or by complimentary shuttle for a five-course dinner with a view into the open kitchen. The menu draws on local game, rustic Colorado fare, and herbs and vegetables, including produce from a summer garden beside a replica of homesteader Frank "Beano" Bienkowski's original cabin.

The restaurant opened in 1986 and describes a commitment to local and organic Colorado meat, fish, produce and cheese. It reports recognition from Distinguished Restaurants of North America, Wine Spectator, and a AAA Four Diamond designation. Reservations are required and can be made by phone or email. Private buy-outs and group dinners are available for parties of 20 to 150 guests.
