Description
Block & Bottle is a locally owned restaurant and bar at 20 Wilcox Street in downtown Castle Rock, on the ground level of the Encore at Castle Rock complex. The kitchen focuses on familiar comfort food with an elevated take, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, with locally sourced ingredients used whenever possible.
The menu runs from chorizo and salsa verde mussels, scallops and shumai to burgers made with ground chuck, brisket and short rib, locally sourced steaks and salads. Breakfast and brunch bring donuts, eggs benedict, waffles, omelets and a pork green chili the restaurant calls award-winning. The full bar pours 10 beers on tap, a wine list and craft cocktails, and the space includes a roomy interior plus two outdoor patios. Online ordering and reservations are available.
