Description
Flying W Ranch is a working ranch at the foot of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, known for its Chuckwagon Dinner Show. Guests have a cowboy-style barbecue dinner of smoked brisket, berbere chicken, baked potato, trail beans and Dutch-oven biscuits, followed by a stage performance by the Flying W Wranglers, a Western band.
The ranch grew out of a 1953 horseback ride and potluck and has been family-owned since 1947. Before dinner, guests can explore the Western grounds, meet ranch animals and ride a narrow gauge train. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available by request when booking, and reservations are accepted. The kitchen also caters private events, and the ranch hosts weddings and corporate gatherings.
