Description
The Local Table is an independently owned American restaurant at 215 Fontaine Blvd in the Security-Widefield area of Colorado Springs. The kitchen turns out classic comfort food with an upscale twist, including hand-smashed burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, omelettes, salads and house pork green chili, alongside breakfast plates like biscuits with chorizo gravy and steak and eggs.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, with weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, for both dine-in and takeout. It offers a pet-friendly patio, a kids menu, and a military discount. The owner, Tony Pera, opened it in a building that was once a Pizza Hut, and the restaurant says it honors military service members.
