Description
The Rabbit Hole is an underground restaurant and cocktail bar at 101 N Tejon St in downtown Colorado Springs, reached by a glass subway-style entrance on Kiowa. It serves upscale New American small plates that change seasonally, with a Wonderland-inspired, gothic setting decorated with work by local artists Phil Lear and Douglas Rouse. The space was once the city morgue, and the restaurant opened in 2011.
The menu features dishes like rabbit meatloaf and buffalo ribs, along with cocktails such as the Ol' Fashion and White Rabbit, and carrot cake for dessert. Gluten-friendly items are marked on the menu. There is no dress code, though the restaurant caters mostly to adults and has no kids' menu. Reservations are strongly recommended, and parties of five or six need to call the restaurant directly.
