Description
Nola Voodoo Tavern is a New Orleans-inspired bar and restaurant at 2222 Bruce Randolph Avenue in Denver's Cole neighborhood. Owner Henry Batiste, a New Orleans native, serves Cajun and Creole dishes based on recipes from his mother and grandmother, including gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice, crawfish étouffée and po'boys. The menu also lists fried catfish, alligator bites and a muffaletta.
The space has exposed brick walls, tall windows and a long bar with a fleur-de-lis design, stocked with Abita beers and Southern-inspired cocktails. Guests can dine in, order takeout or delivery, reserve a table, book a private party or arrange catering. Vegan and vegetarian options, gluten-free choices and happy hour are also available.
