Cholon – Sloan’s Lake

ChoLon Sloan's Lake is the Sloan's Lake location of ChoLon Modern Asian, opened in 2024 at 1671 Raleigh St in Denver. The name means "big market" in Vietnamese, borrowed from a Chinese-influenced market in Saigon and paired with Chef and Owner Lon Symensma's first name. The first ChoLon opened in Denver in 2010.

The menu reimagines traditional dishes from across the Far East with nods to classical European training. Examples include dumplings filled with French onion and Gruyère, pork belly bao buns, pork potstickers, crispy chicken spring rolls and a Kung Pao cauliflower. Dessert includes 5-spiced doughnuts and coconut-lemongrass sorbet, with Vietnamese coffee to finish. Happy hour, a late-night happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays, reservations, catering and private events are available.
