West Colfax is a Denver neighborhood on the city's west side, named for Colfax Avenue, the major east-west street that runs through it. We use the official neighborhood boundary from City and County of Denver open data, so the places listed here fall inside that line.
The area sits close to Sloan's Lake, the large lake and park that neighbors it, and a couple of listed places carry the Sloan's Lake name. The neighborhood's character comes from the avenue itself, which mixes longtime neighborhood businesses with newer restaurants and bars.
