Description
Blue Bonnet Restaurant is a family-owned Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurant at 457 S Broadway in Denver. It opened in the 1930s as an American cafe started by a family with Texas roots, and the name comes from the Texas state flower. Mexican cuisine arrived in 1968 under new owners, and a brother and sister now run the restaurant.
The kitchen offers a seasonal menu built on local ingredients alongside traditional Mexican dishes, plus a gluten-free menu and a margarita and cocktail list. Dine-in, takeout, curbside pickup, online ordering, reservations and catering with taco bars are all available.
