Description
Fat Albert's began as a family-owned restaurant at 1717 23rd Ave in Greeley, serving homemade American comfort food from 1982 until the dining room closed in August 2024. The Albert family's cooking now continues through a food truck run by John Albert, son of Sue Albert.
The menu centers on sandwiches, including the Monte Cristo, made with turkey, ham and Swiss cheese, dipped in tempura batter and deep-fried. Other options include the French Dip, Corned Beef Reuben, New York Cheese Steak and Canadian Torpedo, plus wraps, croissant sandwiches, veggie melts, onion rings and chicken strips. The truck serves at local spots in Greeley, including Crabtree Brewery, so locations can change. Check the website for the menu and where to find it.
