Mountain Standard

Mountain Standard is an American restaurant on Gore Creek Drive in Vail, set creekside in the village. Most of the menu is cooked over an open wood fire, and the kitchen also uses wood-burning grills and a rotisserie. The restaurant describes itself as a rustic tavern with relaxed service, from the same team behind Sweet Basil.

The food menu runs from starters and a raw bar to salads, sandwiches, entrees and family-style plates, plus desserts. The drink list covers seasonal cocktails, spirits, local and national craft beers, a sommelier-selected wine list and non-alcoholic drinks. There is an 18-seat bar served on a first-come basis, a children's menu, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and group events. Reservations are accepted online or by phone.
