1. Genuine experiences
Reviews must reflect actual firsthand experiences with a restaurant, ordering, dining, or catering service. Honest positive, neutral, and negative opinions are welcome.
2. Fake reviews and manipulation
Do not fabricate reviews, use AI to simulate a customer experience, create fake accounts, coordinate deceptive ratings, impersonate competitors or customers, or buy reviews conditioned on positive or negative sentiment.
3. Insider connections
Owners, workers, family members, agencies, contractors, and other materially connected people must not falsely present themselves as independent diners. We may restrict conflicted reviews even when a relationship is disclosed.
4. Respect and rights
No threats, discriminatory abuse, harassment, extortion, private customer information, spam, infringements, impersonation, or knowingly false factual allegations. Criticism alone does not violate this policy.
5. Restaurant replies
Restaurants may respond respectfully but may not threaten customers, disclose private details, or pressure reviewers to retract truthful negative comments.
6. Review reports
Report suspected fake, abusive, infringing, or inaccurate reviews with relevant details to policies@8978tech.com or through available report controls. We may examine evidence and moderate policy-violating content, but cannot guarantee resolution of ordinary factual disagreements.
7. Independent moderation
Paid placement never purchases positive reviews or removal of authentic negative reviews. We may use automated signals and human moderation; not every review has been independently verified.
8. Ratings and outside sources
Ratings are user opinions or identified third-party data, not guaranteed fact. External platform ratings remain subject to their source terms and may differ from directory ratings.
9. Submission rights
Reviewers retain their applicable rights and grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license for us to host, format, display, distribute, moderate, and promote submissions in connection with operating the directory.
10. Enforcement and contact
We may remove content or restrict accounts for abuse and retain evidence as lawfully needed for investigations, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Contact policies@8978tech.com.
