Villa Tatra

Villa Tatra is a family-owned Polish restaurant at 729 Pinewood Drive in Lyons, on US Route 36 between Lyons and Estes Park. The building was constructed in 1976 in the Podhale style of the Tatra Mountains, with wood-paneled walls, two dining rooms, a bar area and two patios shaded by linden trees.

The kitchen serves Eastern European dishes, including smoked salmon and trout. The restaurant also smokes fish for sale in grocery stores, and it hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions and other private events for groups of up to about 50 guests. Catering is available, or guests may bring their own. Call ahead or check the website for seasonal closures, since the restaurant closes for winter.
